Founder

Elisabetta Brinis is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Brinis FSQA, bringing more than 15 years of experience in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Compliance across the United States and Europe.

Born and raised in Italy, Elisabetta’s passion for food and beverage is deeply rooted in her family history. On her mother’s side, she grew up immersed in a fourth-generation restaurant business, where quality, authenticity, and hospitality shaped her early understanding of food culture. On her father’s side, her great-grandmother managed hotels and a liquor manufacturing business, instilling an appreciation for operational excellence, craftsmanship, and the business side of food and beverage.

Elisabetta holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Food Science & Technology from Università degli Studi di Padova, with international academic experience at Wageningen University in the Netherlands, and a Marketing Certificate from UCLA.

Throughout her career, Elisabetta has held progressive leadership roles supporting global and national restaurant brands, as well as food and beverage manufacturers. She has extensive experience with national brands and private label products across diverse categories, ensuring alignment with retailer requirements, audit standards, and regulatory compliance. Elisabetta has led hundreds of audits across manufacturing and distribution facilities, including GFSI-aligned audits, supplier approvals, vulnerability and risk assessments, and compliance evaluations across complex, multi-tier supply chains.

Her expertise spans global regulatory compliance, traceability implementation, cold chain monitoring, crisis and recall management, product commercialization, laboratory program development, and supplier performance optimization.

Known for her practical, risk-based, and execution-focused approach, Elisabetta works closely with executive and cross-functional teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear strategies that support food safety, operational efficiency, and business continuity.
